Privacy Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy explains what personal data VDR Labs collects through this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. If anything is unclear, email build@vdrlabs.com.
Who we are
VDR Labs is the trading name of PT Tri Elektrindo Jaya, a limited liability company (Perseroan Terbatas) registered in Indonesia under business registration number (NIB) 2507240124759. PT Tri Elektrindo Jaya is the controller of the personal data described here.
Registered address: Jl. Danau Poso D1/No.17, Bendungan Hilir, Jakarta, Indonesia.
For any question about this policy or your data, email build@vdrlabs.com.
What we collect
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write.
Our visit statistics tool, Umami, counts visits without cookies. It records which pages are viewed, which site referred the visitor, the visitor's approximate country, browser and device type, and how long they stay. It does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal data such as health, financial or government identity information.
How we use it
We use what you send us to reply to you and, if you ask for them, to send you documents and to prepare for an intro call.
After an intro call, if we have not heard from you, we may send up to two follow-up emails over the following two weeks and, about a month after the call, one short optional survey asking why the project did not go ahead. Every one of these emails lets you tell us to stop, and we will.
We use visit statistics to see which pages are useful and to improve the site.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or add you to a newsletter.
Legal basis
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Swiss data protection law.
To reply to an inquiry and prepare for a possible project, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
For follow-up emails after an intro call and the feedback survey, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding whether our services fit your needs. You can object at any time by replying to any of those emails.
For visit statistics with Umami, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Because Umami uses no cookies, you will not see a banner for it. It respects your browser's Do Not Track setting. You can object by emailing build@vdrlabs.com.
We also process personal data in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
International transfers
We are based in Indonesia, and our service providers are based in the United States or process data there. Your data will therefore be processed outside the country you are in.
Where a provider offers them, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or the UK equivalent, or the provider's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to protect data transferred from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland.
How long we keep it
If an inquiry does not lead to a project, we delete your details within 24 months of our last contact with you.
If you become a client, we keep the data needed to run the project and to meet Indonesian legal and accounting obligations for as long as those obligations require.
Umami keeps visit statistics for up to 6 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given.
To use any of these rights, email build@vdrlabs.com. We will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Security
Access to inquiry data is limited to the people at VDR Labs who need it to respond to you.
Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be pointed out on this page for a reasonable period after they take effect.
